Q. How can I make a reservation?
A. Please call our toll free number 800-244-6200 and speak to one of our reservation specialists, or book online through our website. To make a reservation now, click here.
Q. Can I book reservations at the last minute?
A. Yes! For last minute reservations, please call our office. With a fleet of over 200 vehicles, we can usually accommodate your request in about 30 minutes.
Q. What if my flight is delayed?
A. We monitor all flights with flight tracking software. Vehicles are staged at the airport, and we will send your car down when you call the 800 number upon arrival.
Q. Can written confirmation of reservations be faxed or emailed to me?
A. Yes! The reservation specialist will send you a confirmation by either fax or email. If booking online, the confirmation will be emailed to you.
Q. What is the difference between Shared Ride and Private Car service?
A. Shared ride is offered to allow travelers to travel from O’Hare and Midway Airport at a very discounted rate. The Shared Ride affords us the opportunity to share the vehicle with another passenger going to the same or nearby location. With Private Car service, you and your party ride in the vehicle alone.
Q. Can I make reservations for big groups with My Chauffeur?
A. We have a variety of specialty vehicles that accommodate larger groups. Our experienced Meetings & Events staff will help you coordinate transportation for any size group.
Q. Can I be met at the airport?
A. Yes! You can request a baggage meet for an additional charge.
Q. What is the procedure to find the vehicle upon arrival at O’Hare or Midway Airport?
A. When you have collected your luggage, please call 800-244-6200 from the lower-level baggage claim. The reservation agent will advise you what door to stand at and what vehicle will be coming to pick you up.
Q. What is the cancellation policy?
A. To avoid cancellation charges, please allow 1-hour notice for changes or cancellations. For bus and van reservations, we require 48-hour notice.
Q. When picking up, is there a set wait time allowed for non-airport locations?
A. With a Shared Ride, there is only a 5-minute grace period. With Private Car, there is a 15-minute grace period. After the grace period, there is a charge of $15 per 15-minute increment that the car waits. Also, if the trip was originally booked as a Shared Ride, after the grace period, the trip and the rate for the trip will be converted to a Private Car.
Q. Are there any other fees?
A. In addition to the base rate, there is a 10% Surface Transportation Charge (STC), a fuel surcharge, and a gratuity. Gratuity is at the discretion of the traveler. In addition, there is an extra $15 added to the base rate for holidays and daily between the hours of 11 PM and 5 AM.
Q. What are my payment options?
A. We ask that travelers guarantee payment with a credit card. Cash or credit card must be presented to the chauffeur at the time of the trip unless the reservation has been prepaid.
